In today's world, digital literacy is more than a convenience—it’s a necessity. Yet, many individuals in Knaresborough and surrounding areas still face challenges in accessing technology and the internet. Our project seeks to empower these individuals, enhancing their ability to navigate the digital world confidently and independently.

Digitally Connected Knaresborough is delivered in partnership with Knaresborough Connectors, Gracious Street Methodist Church, and a brilliant small team of volunteers. We are dedicated to helping people build confidence with everyday technology and run a free, monthly drop‑in clinic where anyone can bring their digital questions or tech problems to one of our Digital Champions.

 

Sessions take place at Gracious Street Methodist Church on the 3rd Monday of most months, from 1pm to 3pm. Each clinic begins with a short themed briefing — previous topics have included scam and fraud awareness, useful everyday apps, and a deep dive into Facebook.
